Binding

I often get questions about binding a quilt. It is a service I provide, though I highly recommend that you do the handwork yourself. It is the last “hands-on” experience in finishing your quilt. When I do custom quilting on your top, I send it back to you trimmed and ready to bind, or if you prefer, I will attach the binding to the front of the quilt for a small fee. Ask me about options for binding and finishing your quilt in addition to longarm quilting service. Hopefully this link to a binding tutorial will work.. Binding Tutorial. The only thing I would change about this is if you are going to machine stitch both sides, and not hand stitch the binding to the back, I recommend attaching the binding to the back first, then bringing it around to the front. This way, any wobbles in your stitch line will not show on the front of your quilt.
